About the Pérez Zeledón International Women’s Club
The Pérez Zeledón International Women’s Club (PZIWC) was formed in November 2009 with a dual mission:
- To promote friendship between English-speaking women in Pérez Zeledón
- Through friendship, to make a service contribution to the community
Our friendship mission revolves around monthly lunch meetings, always enjoyable events in different restaurants in the vicinity of San Isidro. In addition to meetings, we have an active Ramblers group who enjoy the great outdoors with a little exercise thrown in. Our games group meets at local cafes once a month to enjoy challenging rounds of Five Crowns, Farkle, Rummy or whatever you choose to play.
The Pérez Zeledón International Women’s Club offers fun and friendship, and opportunities to support your transition towards enjoying the Pura Vida in our wonderful corner of Costa Rica. We are looking forward to meeting you!
Our Mission and our Vision
Through our dual mission of offering a venue to make friendships within the English-speaking community and to make friends with our Tico neighbors through service projects, we offer our members the opportunity to satisfy their different needs, interests, and expectations of life in Costa Rica.
Our service mission has three elements
