Disability Equipment Loan Service

Following an accident or injury, members may need the
short term use of items of disability equipment, such as a
wheelchair or walking aid. Although these are available to
buy in ‘Orthopaedicas’ in town, I have not yet located any
loan service.
Thanks to donations from various Club members, I have
the following equipment in store –
 A standard adult size self-propelling folding wheelchair
with detachable foot rests
 adjustable height folding walking frames
 crutches
 an adjustable height shower chair
 a raised toilet seat
 a lumbar / thoracic body brace
 leg splints and orthopaedic boot / lower leg brace
This equipment if available for short term loan free of
